Welcome to Year 3

Welcome to our Year 3 page. We have a really exciting year ahead of us with lots to look forward to.

P.E.

PE days are Tuesdays and Wednsdays for Bengal Tigers and Wednesdays and Thursdays for Axolotls. Please send your child into school wearing their PE kit on their PE days. Please could all clothing be clearly named to avoid anything getting lost - many thanks.

Homework

Reading

Children are expected to read for 20 minutes every day and record this in their Home-School books. Even if your child can read independently, we recommend that you do still hear your child read regularly. We would encourage parents to ask their child questions about what they read to help them develop their comprehension skills. If you would like some guidance on questions you could ask, please ask your child's class teacher.

Home-School books will be checked weekly.

At the end of the day:

Parents wait and collect their children outside the classrooms.

All children need to be collected by an adult unless we have written permission that your child can walk home.
Please let the office know if collection arrangements change or if you are running late.
